Fast, Easy and Responsive. We Understand Bristell Aircraft Financing.
The Bristell is the performance outlier in the LSA segment — carbon fiber construction, retractable-gear options, and cruise speeds that approach the top of the light sport envelope. FLYING Finance knows the platform and the lenders who price it correctly.
Bristell is a Czech manufacturer building arguably the highest-performance S-LSA aircraft available — carbon fiber construction, Rotax 912 or 915 power, retractable main gear on the NG5 variant, and cruise speeds that made the original 120-knot LSA speed limit a meaningful constraint. With MOSAIC expanding the LSA envelope, Bristell's performance ceiling is increasingly relevant to a broader pilot base.
The Bristell NG5 Speed Wing can cruise at speeds that rival certified aircraft costing three times as much. That performance story has to be told correctly to lenders — and FLYING Finance knows how to tell it.
Bristell financing requires lender familiarity with the platform. Not every aviation lender knows Bristell as well as they know Flight Design or CubCrafters — the U.S. fleet is smaller and newer. FLYING Finance routes Bristell transactions to lenders with direct experience on the platform who price the carbon fiber construction and performance characteristics correctly, rather than applying generic LSA assumptions to a premium aircraft.
The B23 Classic is the fixed-gear Bristell — Rotax 912ULS power, carbon fiber construction, side-by-side seating, and a cruise speed that exceeds most other fixed-gear LSA. At ~$180K–$220K, it's the entry point into Bristell ownership. S-LSA airworthiness certificate, annual condition inspection, Rotax-authorized service records.
~$185,000 · $1,226/mo at 6.92% · 15% down · 20yr
The NG5 is the retractable-gear performance flagship — Rotax 915iS turbocharged engine, retractable main gear, Speed Wing option, and cruise speeds that put it in certified aircraft territory. At ~$220K–$280K, the NG5 is the premium Bristell and the most actively financed model. The retractable gear configuration and Rotax 915 require a condition inspection that specifically addresses both systems.

Bristell Aircraft is based in the Czech Republic with U.S. distribution through BRM Aero. FAA S-LSA type acceptance and U.S. parts/service support exist but are less widespread than for Flight Design or CubCrafters. Lenders who know Bristell don't apply unnecessary foreign manufacturer discounts. FLYING Finance routes to those lenders specifically.
S-LSA airworthiness certificate, current annual condition inspection, Rotax-authorized engine service records, and for the NG5 — retractable gear system service documentation. All of these drive lender comfort with the collateral. A well-documented Bristell with current inspection and factory-authorized service history is a clean file. An undocumented aircraft is a harder conversation.
Like Diamond's composite airframe, Bristell's carbon fiber construction is a durability advantage that lenders experienced with the platform understand. No corrosion, different aging characteristics than aluminum. The same lender knowledge gap that affects Diamond applies to Bristell — correct lender selection is the key variable.
Bristell aircraft command premiums over generic LSA platforms because of their performance characteristics and build quality. Lenders who understand the platform price this correctly; those who apply average LSA collateral assumptions may underprice it. FLYING Finance has Bristell transaction experience and knows which lenders price it right.
"Bristell is the performance leader in the LSA segment — carbon fiber, retractable gear on the NG5, Rotax 915 power. I know which lenders price it correctly. Ask me anything."

FLYING Finance and Bristell Aircraft are excited to announce a new strategic partnership designed to streamline and simplify the aircraft purchasing process for Bristell customers.
Yes. FLYING Finance is an official financing partner of Bristell Aircraft and has specific programs for both the standard Bristell and the Bristell NG5. Bristell aircraft finance under LSA and light sport programs with down payments typically running 20 percent and terms up to 15 years on qualifying aircraft. The composite construction and modern avionics make for well-defined collateral.
FLYING Finance and Bristell launched an official financing partnership to expand aircraft accessibility for buyers pursuing the Bristell B23 and other models. The partnership gives buyers access to FLYING Finance's lender network with Bristell-specific experience, and gives Bristell's dealer network a financing resource to offer buyers at the point of sale. The partnership was announced on FLYING Magazine.
The FAA's MOSAIC rule expands the Light Sport Aircraft category and may allow Bristell aircraft to operate under updated certification parameters, including the new Bristell MOSAIC and RG. From a financing perspective, MOSAIC-eligible aircraft may access a broader lender pool as the regulatory clarity develops. FLYING Finance tracks MOSAIC developments and their impact on LSA financing programs. The MOSAIC financing page covers the current program landscape.
