Ownership Analysis
The M600/SLS is the 2020-and-later version of Piper’s flagship single-engine turboprop, adding the HALO safety system with Garmin Autoland to the M600’s PT6A-42A (600 shp), long-range wing, and Garmin G3000 flight deck. It was the first general aviation aircraft certified with Garmin Autoland. Garmin Autoland can land the aircraft at a suitable airport with a single button press if the pilot becomes incapacitated.
Current production and a young fleet mean strong factory support and minimal avionics uncertainty. Engine program enrollment and pressurization system condition are the main ownership variables. Owners should keep the HALO safety system’s software and database subscriptions current, since those features are part of the aircraft’s value.
The M600/SLS’s safety features and current-production status support strong resale and favorable lender collateral assessments. Loan terms fall under the Turboprop & Jet tier.
