Avionics

Honeywell Primus Apex

Ownership Analysis

The PC-12/47, produced from 2005 to 2007, is the higher-gross-weight version of the classic PC-12, powered by the Pratt & Whitney PT6A-67B with the legacy Honeywell avionics suite, bridging the original PC-12/45 and the PC-12 NG. Its higher gross weight gave operators more flexibility to fill seats and fuel tanks together, a key reason the type became popular with charter and medical operators.

Avionics are the main differentiator from NG aircraft, and upgrade options are a key consideration. As with all PC-12s, operating history, cycles, and engine program status drive value. Many /47 owners have evaluated avionics retrofits to bring the panel closer to NG capability; completed upgrades should be documented.

The PC-12’s exceptionally strong residual values extend to the /47, giving lenders solid collateral confidence. Loan terms fall under the Turboprop & Jet tier.
