Ownership Analysis

The F90 was a short-lived hybrid King Air variant built from 1979 to 1983, pairing the smaller 90-series fuselage with the larger B200’s wing, T-tail, and more powerful PT6A-135 engines to improve climb and cruise performance. Total production ran under 300 aircraft, making it one of the rarer members of the King Air family.

Because production ended decades ago and the in-service fleet is small relative to more common King Air variants, buyers should expect a thinner pool of direct resale comparables and may want to budget extra time for parts and support research, even though the broader King Air maintenance network still applies.

Given the smaller fleet size and out-of-production status, lenders tend to lean more heavily on individual aircraft condition, maintenance program enrollment, and logbook completeness than on broad market comparables when underwriting an F90.
