Ownership Analysis
The V35B was the final and longest-produced V-tail Bonanza variant, built from 1970 to 1982, powered by the Continental IO-520 and incorporating refinements over earlier V-tails before Beechcraft discontinued the V-tail configuration in favor of the conventional-tail 36-series.
As with other V-tail Bonanzas, confirming compliance with the well-known ruddervator/tail-reinforcement airworthiness directives is a key pre-purchase step. Beyond that, the type shares the strong parts support and well-understood maintenance profile common to the broader Bonanza family.
Being the most-produced and latest V-tail variant, the V35B tends to have a reasonably deep pool of resale comparables, supporting typical classic-piston underwriting terms once AD compliance is confirmed.
